Here's a fun and flavorful Chicken Manchurian recipe
👨🍳 Chicken Manchurian Recipe (Dry or Gravy Style – Your Choice!)
🍗 First, marinate 500g boneless chicken (cut into small cubes) with 2 tbsp cornflour, 2 tbsp all-purpose flour, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp soy sauce, ½ tsp black pepper, and salt to taste. Let it sit for 30 mins.
🔥 Heat oil in a pan and deep fry or shallow fry the marinated chicken until golden and crispy. Set aside.
🧅 In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil. Add 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped ginger, 2 chopped green chilies, and stir for a few seconds. Then add 1 chopped onion and 1 chopped bell pepper (capsicum). Stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 mins.
🥣 Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp red chili sauce, 1 tbsp green chili sauce, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tsp vinegar, and a pinch of sugar. Mix well.
💦 For gravy version, mix 1 tbsp cornflour in ½ cup water and pour into the wok. Let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens. (Skip this step if making dry version.)
🍗 Add the fried chicken to the sauce. Toss everything well so the chicken is nicely coated.
🌿 Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with fried rice or noodles!
Let me know if you want a veg version too 😄
