1 tbsp green chili paste 🌶️,

1 tsp garam masala powder 🌶️,

1 tsp red chili powder 🌶️,

 ½ tsp turmeric powder 🌿,

 ½ cup yogurt, whisked 🍶,

 Salt to taste 🧂

, Fresh coriander for garnish 🌿

, Oil for cooking 🛢️.

Instructions:

To prepare the Kofta, start by mixing the minced meat with chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, chopped coriander, garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, mashed potatoes, and salt in a large bowl. Shape the mixture into small, round meatballs (koftas). Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the koftas until golden brown on all sides. Once done, remove them from the oil and set them aside on paper towels to drain any excess oil.

To prepare the gravy, heat oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onions until they turn golden brown, then add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili paste, cooking until fragrant. Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture. Add garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt, mixing well. Lower the heat, add the whisked yogurt, and cook until the gravy thickens.

To combine and serve, gently add the fried koftas into the simmering gravy, cover, and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.

Enjoy your delicious homemade Kofta!
